Hoya ‘Affinity Burtoniae’ is a sweet, easygoing trailing hoya with soft, slightly fuzzy leaves that can blush with warm tones in bright light. Its gentle cascading vines make it perfect for shelves or hanging planters, bringing a cozy, lived-in feel to any space. In the wild, hoyas grow epiphytically, meaning they naturally climb and root along tree branches rather than growing in deep soil. Because of this, they prefer airflow around their roots and don’t need a large amount of soil to thrive.
It grows best in a snug pot, where the roots stay slightly contained and the soil can dry evenly.
