Scindapsus Pictus
$14.99Scindapsus Pictus 'satin pothos' or 'silver satin'
One of the best beginner plants! These babies are distant relative to the popular pothos and are just as easy to care for.
They are native to Southeast Asia and can be found in the wild scaling tree trunks, as it is an epiphyte! Because of its natural growth pattern it does well trained up a moss pole, but is also an excellent option for trailing on a shelf or in a hanging basket. Scindapsus received their common name 'silver satin' because of the stunning iridescent silver variegation against the matte green leaves.
Watering - Allow this plant to dry out most of the way before giving it a thorough watering. Often the leaves will start to curl and appear more dull when it is thirsty, so look out for those signs!
Sunshine - Because Scindapsus grow beneath trees they thrive in indirect, dappled lighting. Avoid too much direct sunlight.
